Meet Matthew:
Matthew is a therapist who brings warmth, authenticity, and genuine care to his work. He approaches therapy through a humanistic lens, believing healing happens in a trusting, collaborative relationship. Matthew helps clients set meaningful goals, deepen self-understanding, and move toward greater self-acceptance.
His integrative style blends humanistic principles with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help clients heal from trauma and distressing experiences.
Matthew works with adolescents, adults, and couples navigating anxiety, depression, burnout, life transitions, and relationship challenges—with a special focus on supporting medical professionals and caregivers experiencing compassion fatigue and emotional exhaustion. Clients describe him as calm, grounded, and encouraging—creating a space where they feel safe, understood, and capable of lasting change.
As a clinical intern, Matthew provides affordable counseling services under the supervision of Sandra Lehmann, MC, LPC, SEP, REAT.
